My name is Denitza! I recently moved to Madison in November 2016. Prior to moving I studied at Aurora University, a small liberal arts college in the western suburbs of Chicago, and graduated with an English degree. My previous work experience has been primarily in customer service. I enjoy interacting with various types of people and take pride in always offering a helping hand. People find me to be an upbeat, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, eating, spending time with friends, and most importantly – eating.
Unusual as it may seem, Annaleigh always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child, which eventually led her down a career path in the dental field. Growing up, she was actively involved in dance. With always being focused on facial expressions and smiling, she fell in love with the true beauty of a smile. She graduated from her dental assisting course in 2014 and started assisting in Orthodontics. Annaleigh strives to build relationships with her patients and finds their trust very important and rewarding. Going to work every day is a new experience and another opportunity to ensure her patients feel comfortable and leave happy. In the future, she hopes to pursue her dream of becoming a registered dental hygienist and starting a family. Outside of work, Annaleigh enjoys yoga, working out, and exploring the United States with her significant other, Austin.
Meet Carly! Carly just graduated from UW Madison with degrees in Zoology and Communication Arts. She has had a long term passion for dentistry, and is currently in the process of applying for dental school. To her, the best part about working in the oral health industry is having the opportunity to provide people with healthy, happy smiles. In her free time she enjoys volunteering at a local non-profit, Madison Dental Initiative, where she helps in advocating for oral health care accessibility. Carly has also worked at the Center for Healthy Minds for the past two years and is a big believer in the power of mindfulness and positive thinking. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, hiking, yoga, and trying out all of Madison’s best restaurants.
Hey! My name is Lissete Aburto, but most people just call me Liz. I recently moved to Madison in June 2017 from Beloit Wisconsin. I graduated from Beloit Memorial High school, where I participated in Latino Club, was a member of the varsity soccer team, and ran varsity cross country. After graduating, I decided to join the work force right away to explore what fields I enjoyed working in the most. After trying out the Dental Assistant position, I have realized that I enjoy gaining my patients trust and helping them feel more comfortable, given that not everyone’s favorite’s place is the dentist. I strive to one day become a Dental Hygienist, but first I want to continue gaining dental assisting experience!
